Happy Feet

Two different friends and their spouses gave birth recently and I considered a way to celebrate their ecstatic joy. While out browsing I came across white silk slippers and saw the perfect way to honor these two new souls. Little baby Goddess slippers...

The first pair are my design for Celtic Fairy shoes and even though the recipient had not been wearing anything on her perfect little feet I offered these as little works of art to hang on the nursery wall.







This second pair are inspired by the Dolphin Mural in the Queen's Bedchamber in Knossos.
The darling babe's parents met while swimming with the dolphins and her daddy had spent many a summer in Greece... so the match seemed perfect.
